Hyundai releases details of 2020 IONIQ Electric
Hyundai’s 2020 IONIQ Electric will start at $33,045US for the SE model and $38,615US for the Limited model. The automaker has revealed a number of improvements over previous models, including 36 percent more energy storage capacity and 37 percent more driving range .
The 2020 IONIQ Electric offers 170 miles of range, 134 horsepower, and 218 pound-feet of torque. The EV features a 38.3 kWh battery pack and 7.2 kW on-board charger. Using a 100 kW fast-charging station, the new battery can reach an 80 percent charge in as little as 54 minutes, according to the company.
